Welcome to the Lighthouse-Program!<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Hi, I am Andreas Lesslhumer and I\u2019ve been part of the IT world for quite a while now. Long enough to have seen backup tapes, floppy disks, and more \u201cnext big things\u201d than I can count.
My focus has always been on data protection, backup, and virtualization<\/strong>, but over the years I\u2019ve learned that sharing knowledge is just as valuable as gathering it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From Blogging to Beaming Light<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

I started blogging back in 2010<\/strong>, actually running two different blogs<\/strong> over the years.
In 2024<\/strong>, I decided to shut them down. Time became a rare resource between family, work, and other adventures<\/strong>, and honestly, I felt like traditional blogging wasn\u2019t quite in sync with the pulse of our fast-moving tech world anymore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But here\u2019s the twist: even if blogs sometimes fade, information doesn\u2019t stop flowing<\/strong>.
There are so many small but important updates, lessons learned, and hidden gems that deserve to be seen and that\u2019s why the Lighthouse Program Newsletter<\/strong> was born.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The idea? Every two weeks<\/strong>, I send out a compact summary of my most relevant IT news, discoveries, and insights<\/strong> – only when there\u2019s really something worth sharing. No spam, no fluff, just light to navigate the data seas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
